The fraternity that Sabrina Rubin Erdely and Rolling Stone smeared in their discredited tale about a gang rape at University of Virginia has filed a $25 million lawsuit against them.

This is the third lawsuit arising from the yarn. The first two came from three fraternity members and a dean at the college.

And we will still await that “re-reported” story Rolling Stone and Erdely promised after the Washington Post and other media proved that “a rape on campus” never happened.

Inquiring minds want to know: Is Erdely finished “re-reporting?” If not, why not? If so, when do we get the “re-reported” story?

Of course, facing three lawsuits, Rolling Stone won’t likely utter a word publicly, at least until Jann Wenner is forced to admit the truth and tell his secretary to get out the checkbook.
