Ghosts in the Graveyard

The bus from Budapest to Belgrade is full, and I am lucky to get a seat. We are a cosmopolitan lot. In addition to the two Americans, there are two Norwegian businessmen sitting across the aisle reading the Economist, a sprinkling of Hungarians and Germans, and a group of friends returning to Belgrade from a vacation in the Orient.
