Dear Tom, Gail, Jim,
I must cancel my attendance this year. I've rapidly fallen ill--not seriously but uncomfortably enough to make 16 hours in Economy class on the way to Rome unbearable.
I hope to see you and my other friends attending the Winter School in the future, when I won't sound like warmed-over death.
My very best wishes for the next two weeks to all,
Ray Olson
