On this side of the pond, the weak will of Americans is evinced by the fact that our country is, quite obviously to anyone not poisoned by the likes of Fox News and the New York Times, about to disappear as we know it forever. I imagine 2008 is likely to be the last election we see conducted under the current framework with all fifty states participating in a meaningful capacity.
