Well said, Dr. Trifkovic. RT is the least dishonest news channel out there. Now if they'd only get rid of the annoying leftist, Thom Hartman.
RT gets all the interesting Americans that are blacklisted domestically.
Albert Speer, speach ar Nurnberg trial.
I'll have to dissent on RussiaToday.
RussiaToday tells the truth out of mere accident. Its main interest is in polemics, and it invites too many clowns such as Gerald Celente, Thom Hartman, and Max Keiser. Anybody who does not think the world is about to end is not welcome.
But when they are correct, it's because they invited somebody who dissents after serious research and study. Some of their military analysts probably fall into that category.
I get the impression that RT wrestles between doing something different from English language mass media TV news and being somewhat influenced by the latter.
I laud the above segment, while being constructively critical of some others instances at RT. Me thinks that true advocates for better media and friends of Russia should welcome such advocacy.
Dr. Trifkovic brings up an issue that corresponds with an incident at the ICTY, when the mention of bin Laden in Sarajevo was hushed up:
In some influential circles, what does and doesn't get stressed relates to the kind of teflon treatment shielding the otherwise inept foreign policy observations out there.
Simply excellent Dr. T. Nice to see a "real" expert being interviewed for a change.
