Banned From Canadistan
On Thursday, February 24, I was denied entry to Canada. After six hours’ detention and sporadic interrogation at Vancouver airport I was escorted to the next flight to Seattle. It turns out I am “inadmissible on grounds of violating human or international rights for being a proscribed senior official in the service of a government that, in the opinion of the minister, engages or has engaged in terrorism, systematic or gross human rights violations, or genocide, a war crime or a crime against humanity within the meaning of subsections 6 (3) to (5) of the Crimes Against Humanity and War Crimes Act.”
It appears that my contacts with the Bosnian Serb leaders in the early nineties make me “inadmissible” today. As it happens I was never one of their officials, “senior” or otherwise, but the story has been told often enough (most recently in one of my witness testimonies at The Hague War Crimes Tribunal). The immigration officer at Vancouver decided that what was good for The Hague was not good enough for Canada; but her decision evidently had been written somewhere else by someone else well before my arrival. (She was so out of her depth that she asked me if President Vojislav Koštunica had been indicted for war crimes.)
I’ve visited Canada some two dozen times since the Bosnian war ended; ironically, one of those visits, in February 2000, was to provide expert testimony before the Canadian House of Commons in Ottawa. Why should the Canadian authorities suddenly decide to keep me out of the country now, and for transparently spurious reasons? Well, because the Muslims told them so. The campaign started when a Bosnian-Muslim propaganda front, calling itself The Institute for Research of Genocide of Canada, demanded to have me “banned” from speaking at the University of British Columbia on February 24. The ensuing campaign soon escalated into demands to keep me out of Canada altogether. The authorities have now obliged.
As Ambassador James Bissett noted last week, what is outrageous is that, over the years, this “Institute” has indulged in the denial of a real genocide in the former Yugoslavia. It has also attempted to blacken the reputation of one of Canada’s most highly respected soldiers by posting (last December 26) “The Shocking Account by Raped Bosniak Women and Criminal Undertakings of Lt. General (Ret.) Lewis Mackenzie”:
During the war in Bosnia, the Muslim leadership in Sarajevo became furious when General Mackenzie—who was representing the UN—was not deceived (as many journalists were) by the blatant propaganda generated by the Muslim side and by his insistence at remaining impartial. In an attempt to have him replaced, the Muslims concocted false charges of rape and misconduct against him. These charges were so obviously fabricated they were summarily dismissed by responsible authorities. As the general was able to prove, he was not even in Bosnia when many of the alleged offences took place. Despite the facts, the “Genocide Institute” continues to slander the good name of General Mackenzie. Its web site contains a long list of so-called rape victims who relate in lurid detail how they were raped … by the Canadian officer. They even claim that during some of these rapes the general was “protected ‘– not by UN troops but by heavily armed “Chetniks.” The stories are so obviously fabricated that to those who know the General personally—as I do—can only wonder at the seriously psychotic nature of individuals who would repeat these lunatic charges.
General Mackenzie is a Canadian so he cannot be deemed “inadmissible,” but who knows what unpleasantness could await him upon arriving in another country with a powerful Muslim lobby. Extradition for trial in Sarajevo? A long and arduous legal battle to prevent such outcome?
Let it be noted that the “Institute for Research of Genocide of Canada” uses for itself the acronym “IRGC.” That acronym is more commonly associated with the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps. While conceivably accidental, the coincidence is not altogether inapt. The Canadians will learn, in the fulness of time, the price of kowtowing to these people’s demands. They will become less free with each act of surrender, and the demands will have no end.

I would give the Canadians and the IRGC some help advice, but I wouldn’t because reason or any type of logical argumentation could not penetrate their willful blindness. But charity impels me to send them a message, which is “whom the Gods destined for destruction, they will first drive them to madness”. The message may not be exactly like the original; nevertheless our Canadian neighbors should get the message.
“whom the Gods destined for destruction, they will first drive them to madness”
Good point and true for much of the Western elite in these decadent days.
Oh dear; how embarrassing! On behalf of trad-con Canadians (there are a few of us), sorry about our stupid dhimmi bureaucrats and spineless elected politicians.
Don't you mean February 24, not March?
Yes, I do. Thursday, Feb. 24 it was. Errare humanum est...
On the bright side, Srdja, the organ harvesting scandal that I heard first from you has grown long legs. The MSM, to its rare credit, decided not to sweep it under the rug any longer. And that's why the hosers consider you persona non grata.
You have our support Dr. Trifkovic. This is a travesty.
Just a slight matter:
We all know that the Iranians themselves do not use the acronym "IRGC" right or even the name "Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps"? It is somewhat equivalent to the NATO terminology of "Fulcrum" for the MIG-29 and "Fishbed" for the MIG-21.
The "Open Society" crowd isn't so open. Their manner includes favoring hack outfits which prefer lobbing cheap shots from a safe distance - as opposed to a more earnest point-counterpoint exchange, with a reasonably objective moderator.
The Canadian government has carried on in a most shameful manner.
With this in mind, note the comments of Human Rights Watch legal advocate Reed Brody on Western complicity with oppressive Middle east regimes:
http://rt.com/programs/crosstalk/crosstalk-middle-east-revolutions/
Offhand (could be mistaken), Brody has pretty much gone along with the skewed process of downplaying the culpability of Bosnian Muslim and Albanian nationalists.
Dr. Trifkovic, I was amused by the silly manner of the letter, which started off with "a Serbian-American ‘scholar". Such scathing wit, because they called you a scholar with quotation marks!
-----------
On the other hand, something makes me concerned. I am young and not too bold, and I find that even the fairly moderate and middle-of-the-road writers of Chronicles have been frequently labelled as racists or hate propagandists by various activist organizations. (This, despite the explicit condemnation of polemics here.) I feel that if in the future, I manage to get a good job and suddenly a colleague who idly Googles me finds my comments on this site, I may even get into trouble for that. Most people who post here are older men with little to lose. I...well, am not. :/
Prateek, if getting a good job means kowtowing to evil did you ever have much to lose anyway? I lost out on some business opportunities because of my "outspoken" politics but it appears God managed to make me modestly wealthy anyway. And remember that... for believers in the end God will review all of your comments and that will be the only important critic. And I can't claim I don't have some earned trepidation over that exit interview for myself at least.
I imagine that Canada kowtows to the British Crown/LabLibCon government also. Seeing as how the talk show host Michael Savage of San Francisco has been banned from entry into Britain, I will watch with interest whether you are denied entry there also -- should you ever travel to the Home Islands. Lots of Muslims there. They are pushy, too.
The Muslims are drooling, of course:

If you'd like to send a comment to the Canadian minister responsible for this farce, you can do so at

This is a complete travesty that would almost be humorous if it were not so deeply frightening and offensive. When will the West ever wake up? It's a shame what Canada has become - a servile state bowing to the interests of any pressure groups seeking to impose anti-Western, anti-Christian behavior upon it. That government-run customs would commit this injustice just confirms that a fish rots from the head.
Clarification that the enemy is deathly fearful of a man who can out-smart, debate, and win any argument imposed by the opposition.
Canadian Immigration Officers: “Unthinking respect for authority is the greatest enemy of truth.” -- Albert Einstein
as a canadien serb i'm outraged hearing what happend. I will most definitly write to the canadian minister eve if i expect nothing of this. Judging form what happend during the G20 summit in Toronto, this government clearly is at the service of the american empire. and now i see the it bends before muslims too. This smearing campaign against the serbs as lasted well enough and i'm feed up. i surely wont miss any chance i get to reply to any media or minister. to Mr trifkovic, please don't give up.
I mirrored the Gates of Vienna posts about your treatment in Canada both on my own blog and on http://www.theblogmocracy.com/.
A travesty.
Things have indeed gotten worse over the last few years. The American Renaissance conference has been stopped for two striaght years after death threats made to hotels (of course, the authorities don't care about this type of terrorism).
Now Trikovic cannot get into Canada even though mass Muslim immigration continues to that nation.
The Muslims might as well take over as there is not much left worth saving.
This incident demonstrates the extent that Bosnian Muslim and Croat extremists (along with their willing NWO Western accomplices) will go to prevent the Serbian side of the Yugoslav civil wars from being told. Interestingly, real genocide deniers such as the Croat "rock star" Thompson (Marko Perkovic) was allowed into Canada and the "Institute for Genocide Research" is allowed to operate in Canada despite its' denial of the genocide of Serbs during WWII. I hope that Dr. Trifkovic and any lawyers concerned about the sorry state of democracy and free speech in the West consider instituting a massive lawsuit against Canada and the Institute for Genocide Research for defamation of character. I also hope that this tragic incident does not deter Dr. Trifkovic from his tireless and monumental effort to expose the truth in his excellent writings.
Support for Mr. Trifkovic!!!
Greetings from Belgrade, Serbia.
I have read the transcript of mentioned testimony before Canadian House of Commons back in 2000. I have sensed underlying hostility towards Dr. Trifkovic and his views, and general lack of interest to broaden understanding of the conflict in question by the Comitee. It was pretty clear to me that Canadian Government fully accepted "official" conclusions and definitions of Bosnian Civil War in Brussels/Washington version and that cannot be changed no matter what. I was only wondering then why anybody needed this testimony at all. Latest scandal of denying Dr. Trifkovic access to Canada is a proof that I am was not paranoid. His name was obviousely added to the list of undesirables then.
Anyone who seeks the full truth about events surrounding SFR Yugoslavia through 90' is automatically denier of something which has been decided already and the defender of anything Serbian (also decided already), can be very unpleasant.
Great Crimes Against Humanity have been commited in these events. They continue being commited as we speak only because the truth is not allowed the light of day.
After all these years, I still believe that the Serbs are the least important victims of this travesty. The real victim is the whole Humanity. I believe Srdja Trifkovic is motivated by very simmilar sentiment.
As a Canadian I can assure you that growing numbers of people are becoming more and more aware and vocal about the kind of immigrants who are actually colonizers. They come to the West with the intent of implementing their homegrown religious and cultural views onto the broader society. Canada has a history of accommodation and tolerance that too many thought would make everyone live happy ever after. In practice it has led to abuse and a very real threat to Canadian culture and values. The voices in opposition to multiculturalism are rapidly growing louder and we now are getting at least a verbal recognition from our government. We welcome immigrants, but we need to close the door on the stealth invaders who would remake our society in their own image.
Boy, was I looking forward to listen professor Trifkovic two days in a row in Vancouver. Then, our government decides that we do not need to hear out this man, as we then might, God forbids, start thinking with our own heads, which is the biggest crime in this country. The fact is that, nowadays is enough to have only one or two marginals and "beautiful people" http://www.bosniak.org/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/suzana-vukic.jpg and http://www.instituteforgenocide.ca/multimedia/2010/01/Prof%20Emir%20Ramic.jpg to falsely accuse you of something and boy, you're toast. You are done. Gone. Democracy and freedom of speech? Phhh. Who still needs that? Above mentioned "worldwide well known" people will sooner or later get caught in their own web of hate, deception and whole spectrum of phobias. I would sugested them to start with: Eisoptrophobia.
What a shameful for Canadian government to make such a decision. I would advise Dr. Trifkovic to sue the responsible Ministry for lies brought up and ask for high compensation and allowance to enter Canada.
Dr. Trifkovic, based on having read much of your online work, it seems obvious to me that you are a scholar who goes to great trouble to find out what is true, and who then offers opinions on the matter that are logical and thought-out. I do not necessarily agree with everything you write, but the only people who have reason to fear you are those who seek, through lies, deceit and intimidation, to destroy what is good about humanity. A man is defined not only by who his friends are, but also by who his enemies are, and this situation is, for me, a tremendous endorsement of you.
Dr. Trifkovic, as a Canadian who has subscribed to Chronicles for several years and enjoyed reading two of your books (Sword of the Prophet, and Defeating Jihad), I would like to express how utterly disgusted I am at our government officials over this. They will let Asian mobsters, potential terrorists from the Middle East, and all sorts of other genuine undesirables into the country by the thousands on a permanent basis yet they won't let you in to speak at a university? That this has happened at a time when the so-called "Conservative" Party is in government is all the more infuriating.
Gerry: Thank you! If you have a few minutes to spare, please send your thoughts on the matter to Jason Kenney, Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism [sic!] at Minister@cic.gc.ca -- and perhaps also to your MP.
Dr. Trifkovik:
What sayeth thou on my piece?

This excerpt from the above article is worth following up on:
"The immigration officer at Vancouver decided that what was good for The Hague was not good enough for Canada; but her decision evidently had been written somewhere else by someone else well before my arrival. (She was so out of her depth that she asked me if President Vojislav Koštunica had been indicted for war crimes.)"

Never mind the comparative record of Bosnian Muslim nationalists like Alija Izetbegovic, Ejup Ganic, and Haris Silajdzic, among others. Unlike Izetbegovic - Kostunica had no leadership responsibility during the 1990s wars in former Yugoslavia. Kostunica translated the Federalist Papers into Serbo-Croatian, whereas Izetbegovic wrote a Muslim ultra-nationalist declaration in 1970. Yet, Kostunica is more likely to get portrayed as an extremist than Izetbegovic, Ganic and Silajdzic.
The stated basis for banning of Dr. T from Canada combine elements of hypocrisy, inaccuracy, arrogance and ignorance.
A truly functioning democracy has institutes which nurture a relatively objective flow of views on political issues.
By its action, the Canadian government isn't in a particularly good position to lecture others including Russia.
Michael, as I understand it, Republicanism establishes institutions that are politically neutral. Democracy is tyranny of the majority, or of the loud and intimidating minority, as seems to be the case in Canada, as is the case in much of Europe, and is increasingly the case in the United States.
A vile act. I have to say--and I know this from when he has responded to my comments and jabs--that Dr. Trifkovic seems to be handling this with his normal courage and grace, the true mark of the gentleman.
Several new posters, whose comments have not made it through our automatic filters, have used the usual technique of pretending that Dr. Trifkovic is not really a scholar--hence the quotation marks. One poor fellow, who writes under the name Marko and Milan, inserted a few sentences of classic Serbian irony, which he apparently misunderstood, by Dobrica Cosic, another Serbian "scholar.," What the ignoramus apparently does not know is that before he was falsely branded as a Serbian nationalist, Dobrica Cosic was regarded American and European circles as a major 20th century novelist, whose works were translated into English and published by a major commercial American publisher. One may choose not to like his style of fiction--both historical and psychological--as much as, say, I do, but to deny him literary eminence simply because he stood up for his country in its hour of peril is the mark of a very petty and nasty kind of mind. The same treatment, by the way, has been given to Ivo Andric, the half-Serb who won the Nobel Prize for literature, and apparently is being used on Emir Kusturica, the brilliant Bosnian filmmaker who converted to Orthodoxy. Let us all beware of following suit. I can admire the Croatian writer Krleza without finding his political and moral conduct acceptable, and I am not about to repudiate Fitzgerald's Omar Khayam because the poet was a Muslim, albeit a bad Muslim.
All in all this is a disturbing development, but this is the new Orwellian Order that is coming to fruition. To have it irreversibly finalized, there can be no dominate race/religion, etc that can pose a threat to unifying the people to fight against the new order of things to come. I am surprised that they really give a damn about hindering Dr. Trifkovic's movement since they are in the midst an almost irreversible victory.
Dr Trifkovic:
I usually don't write in comments. I think your foreign policy analysis in all areas is superb. I hate to hear this, because I like Canada a lot. This is unconscionable and I will write the Canadians about this immediately. May God bless you and your family.
This practice has unfortunately become commonplace in the West. Michael Savage was blacklisted in Britain (even though he had no intention of entering the country anyway) for his "anti-Islamic views". Britain is only for Attila the Whore and his kind nowadays.
The PC/Muslim oppression will be creeping South.

Yes, the damage is done, the most to Canada democratic system.
For Dr. Trifkovic, more popularity and respect for his truthful analysis of new millennium terrible time were the truth is first victim.
Any how, it is important to hear or read Dr. Trifkovic analysis even if he is ban to lecture. Nobody can stop all the ways he may published his phenomenal studies.
The most important is to let the truth on its own way to the public. Dear Srdjo, be happy, God loves you, my Christian brother. Thanks for phenomenal and historic work.
American Dragon
This is Jean Raspail's "Camp Of the Saints" novel (1973) now unravelling before our very own eyes. Western elites are selling their own people out in favour of the alien forces and influences.
The banning of Dr. Trifkovic is just the latest in a series of banning people from Canada. The most famous person recently banned from Canada was the former Labor Scottish MP George Galloway. The Jews hate him and the Palestinians love him. He was later unbanned when he stirred up enough negative publicity for the Canadian government to get embarrassed about the whole mess. You would think that the stupid Harper government would want to keep below the radar since the Polish immigrant Robert Dziekanski was Tasered to death by RCMP thugs. But no, they seem to get stupider and stupider, pandering to whatever privileged groups' prejudices that are the flavor of the day!
Herb, the matter of who screams the loudest while establishing the greater elitny political clout has corrupted good portions of mass media and academia.
The Canadian government appears to have so far taken a pompous high above the clouds approach.
Ideally, they:
- should investigate and reprimand the official who made the overly subjective and politically idiotic remark about Kostunica
- apologize to Dr. T
- allow him to travel to Canada.
Canada has some bright folks. The travel ban stance taken by the Canadian government encourages raising a nation of hacks and idiots over intellects.
Such actions serve to send a message on what kind of views are more tolerated in academic and media circles. The end result is hack outfits like the Bosnian Muslim natiionalist org. in question having their way with spewing misinformation.
Dr. Trifkovic obviously represents a threat to Canadian security, unlike the peace-loving "Bosniaks" and "Kosovars" who have criticized him. One of the latter, insufficiently grateful for the US-led jihad in Kosovo, just opened fire on an American military bus at Frankfurt airport, killing two and wounding a third.
