Russia Today reporting from Tshkinvali pointed out that an apartment building damaged by Georgian tank shells, was in fact the Jewish neighborhood. The truth? Who can say? I've given up! Now I watch South Park re-runs, MXC, Family Guy, and get real news from Weekly World News available only on the internet. They too gave up print media. "It's the economy, stupid." And when the present, lying regime is caught in enough lies that actually hurt people in their tenderest spot--the pocketbook, Americans will trade it in at the polls for another cadre of liars. To the American people--whose popular culture is steeped in lies and who themselves lie routinely and daily about matters big and small without the slightest pangs of conscience--what matters all this foreign policy stuff, the government's lying about it or, for that matter, anything that does not directly affect ME?
