Of Comment, Censor, and Censure

In the comments on the articles on this site, we welcome divers opinions, provided they are relevant, intelligible, courteous, and consistent with charity.

As this website is a labor of love for the Chronicles staff, it cannot be monitored round the clock.  Our magazine is our priority.  But as time permits, adjustments will be made with regard to violators of our constitution, written or unwritten.

As the product of a nonprofit educational organization, this website relies on the gracious donors who give to Chronicles and The Rockford Institute.  We would not violate their trust by allowing this site to be hijacked by those pushing anti-Christian agendas, which are inconsistent with our mission.  We would especially not violate their trust in order to provide a platform for those who spend their days trolling the world-wide web looking to arouse arguments, seeking whom they may devour.  For example: We are neither holocaust deniers nor Zionists.  We are attacked enough for what we intend to say.  We do not wish to be known for what we do not believe.

Already there are those on whom the hammer of eJustice has fallen, who are crying censorship!  Our answer is yes.

Thanks to all of those who have patiently endured.

—The Webmaster
