Excellent article Dr. Wilson. Somebody once said; "Nothing is politically right that is morally wrong." We see the same problems in Canada and Europe with morally challenged politicians of all political stripes.

Why shall I vote for Dr. Paul for President this year? For the same reason one lays a flower upon a departed loved one's casket before the conveyor belt carries it to the furnace.

If Dr. Paul did get elected and did manage to avoid assassination, he would be in a position like that which we are told was the lot of a late Western Roman emperor named Majorian: Competent, honest, vigorous, energetic - and one man against a trend of decay centuries deep.

Hey that was good!

Thanks for the inspired talk. When men leave God, not only do our hearts falter into evil, but our reason is blinded even to the most obvious -- as we write plays we think show forth our brilliance.

From the very beginning, I've been called nuts for saying that Hillary and Rudy don't stand a chance. Hmm...
I was also called nuts by some of my best friends for saying McCain was the likely nominee. I hope to God, especially now that the amnesty cat is out of the bag, that I was wrong on that one---maybe like I was wrong to predict Edwards.
My only real surprise from this whole shenanigan has been a good one: The insurgency of Ron Paul.

Lord Karth at 28,

I'll concentrate on staying Christian. Death is awfully inevitable, and as to "staying Human," I am afraid that the evil condition in which we find ourselves is a product of the fallen and flawed HUMAN heart. I once attended a play on the life of Dietrich Bonhoeffer. In the play, the character of Bonhoeffer raised the question, "Where is God?" In a question and answer session after the play, an older gentleman rose to ask, wanting to say something profound in the post-modern sense, "Where was man?" Those in the session applauded. I could not resist, so I rose to say, "Man was where he has always been, save for the moments he is focused on that allegedly missing God, killing himself, murdering himself, destroying himself. WWII and all of its horrors are the essence of fallen man without God!" I yet and still hold to that.

Romney too is not a member of CFR. Better an empty suit like Romney than an empty head like McCain, or worse still a black heart like Obama's, one that yearns for America's destruction.

Devils all, but some have sharper claws than have others.

Excellent point, again, about America being a different nation. Would it be accurate to point a finger at the "new immigrants" who entered after the North-South War as the start of the flood?

I fear Fleming and you are mistaken to aim your limited fire at Romney. Surely he's preferred to McCain, Giuliani, and Huckabee. Tancredo, Bob Jones III, and Weyrich all saw fit to endorse him as the least of evils.

I'll vote Paul, but I've been hoping Romney would be Paul's safety net as the least of the terrible evils.

"We need a generation of men willing to take control of their families and women willing to stay at home and take care of the home front and truly care for the children. Instead, we urge men to be more like women and encourage women to be more like men, even to the point of joining the military. It is very sad to me that most men seem to care very little for these lamentable developements."

That is all fine and dandy, Mr. Breisch, but how do you bring about this social revolution. Every institution in our country, even the military, has drilled into our heads the lie that the "liberation" of women is one of the great feats of modern social enlightenment, an entirely progressive development, and "you can't fight progress".

So how do you propose we bring about this revolution, by lobbying our legislators to overturn civil rights laws for women? Fat chance of that happening. Any member of Congress who even half-seriously made such a suggestion would be immediately drummed out of office to the cries of "jihadist", and be accused of trying to turn America into a Saudi Arabia of the West.

And forget about the churches taking the lead in this social revolution. Who would it be, the Baptists with their higher-than-average divorce rate? The Roman Catholic church, with its legions of feminist members who curse their own Pope for being a male chauvinist? Even the most traditional family oriented church in this country - Christian or otherwise - the Mormons, are experiencing an unprecedented rebellion in their ranks by the current generation of college educated women raised in the church who wish to live as secular career women do.

Sorry Mr. Breisch, but the women's lib genie was let out of the bottle a long time ago, and I don't see how anybody is going to be able to cram it back in at this point...

Dr. Wilson again hits the nail on the head! It all seems very sad, but is actually the inevitable consequence of government growing completely out of control and all things now being managed by government bureaucrats...not to mention corporate ones.

Lord Karth @ #28 "Our first obligation is to maintain Western society in our own families; that will be challenge enough for most of us." This is indeed a tall order, and I quite agree -- a challenge most definitely, but may well hold the key to survival; unfortunately, this institution has been under savage attack by the ruling elites for a long, long time and I fear most of us have been duped into falling down here. Even the churches have been almost entirely silent and of no help.

Time will tell us what will happen. Meanwhile, enjoy life and lets all work harder at maintaining Western society by strengthening our families.

Cheers to all,
