Much of the media attention on Putin's crackdown on the vulgar, tax-evading oligarchs ignores some important points that explains the media's exquisite concerns, particulary considering their lack of concern for Islamic terrorism in Russia or the plight of the Armenians in Turkey:
Jews were privileged in Soviet society, in spite of occasional spasms of harassment, i.e., 1967.
Jews were positioned in the media, the state bureaucracy, party leadership, and intelligence agencies to take advantage of privatization.
Six of seven Russian oligarchs are Jews. And Jews have become filthy rich in the last ten years in Russia, just as they were advantaged in the early years of Soviet Communism and maintained to varying degrees that advantage until '91.
Many oligarchs have made their millions with foreign capital from New York, London, and Tel Aviv.
Putin, unlike Yeltsin (who was rumored to have Jewish heritage), is reasserting a self-conciously religious and ethnic Russian identity, and this does not fit in with the globalist pretensions of our age, as well as the values and interests of many secular and Jewish elites in the media, state department, the realm of international high finance, and other corridors of power.

*Marxist inspired state capitalism which is what we have today is nothing less than socialism for the wealthy. Or to put it another way, everything they do is publically underwritten, insured, and leveraged and yet it is privately owned (by an increasingly few.) To counterbalance this to some degree Ralph Nader during the Carter Administration advanced the plea really for a publically funded Citizens Action Agency to counterbalance all of the other Government Agencies which were and especially today are only fronts for the very industries they are supposed to regulate. Not going to bat for Ralph’s attempt at some redress of grievance for the public, i.e. some counterbalance of socialism for the rich/or state-capitalism Carter let it go by the boards, sadly. This led to Reagan and his unintelligent policies (he wasn’t the brightest of bulbs) - policies for either state capitalism (socialism for the rich) or for the rich (who underwrote him) getting richer. Later he got alzheimers or in his and most of our cases 'the gift of the loss of memory.' (humor, come on - Humor.)
America just isn’t that smart yet (sadly & /happily since at least under God/CHRIST) thanks God (sorry, didn't mean to break into prayer) - and the increasingly smaller few keep taking that sweet/crass naivete (sadly) - to the bank. As Ralph Nader has humorously put it "they" the swinishly wealthy jews/gentiles and their lickspittles or “think tanks” sit around all day noticing how the glass in 97% full - and how and where to squeeze out the rest. Sad & funny.
