Clyde N. WilsonThe U.S. government is incompetent.
(It can't prevent a handful of unarmed foreigners from blowing up its military headquarters.)

The U.S. government is intrusive.
(Let me count the ways.)

The U.S. government is corrupt.
(1. In the last 40 years or so it has dispensed billions of dollars for unnecessary or fraudulent purposes. 2. Only those with a very large amount of money to spend can get elected to federal office.)

The U.S. government is profligate.
(It has piled up a debt that is literally unpayable without the enslavement of future generations.)

The U.S. government harms the innocent as well as the guilty.
(There are many instances where federales have murdered innocent people and many more where federal prosecutors have persecuted those who were not guilty.)

The U.S. government is dishonest.
(Most of the time federal officials do not tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.)

The U.S. government is unaccountable.
(1. It is now pursuing a war and an illegal alien amnesty opposed by a large majority of the people. 2. The Supreme Court passes laws never approved by the people or their representatives. 3. A federal official is never punished for incompetence, in fact is usually rewarded, and seldom for corruption except the most overt.)

What part don't you understand?

Carthage must be destroyed.

  1. Carthage must be destroyed, indeed.

    Pass it on.

  2. WRT incompetency, I see that after deciding to require a passport for visiting Canada and Mexico (by the way only 8% of Americans have one), and being unable to deliver expedited passports to those who paid an extra $60 for one and volunteering to return the $60 sans passport, the FED has decided that this year you won't need a passport afterall to visti these two neighbors. Now tell me again how the FED is going to control the border and document all these illegal aliens! Our Congressmen seem to think that merely writing a law is sufficient to enforce it.

  3. The Philadelphia Convention and the therein and thereat gathered "founders" aside, the people, it was, in their sovereign capacity gathered in convention in their respective states, ratified the otherwise meaningless draft of the current Constitution and through that act created the current general government which is a mere agent of the states who remain, wars and so-called constitutional law not withstanding, the principles.

When a creator (note the small "c") brings a creature into being, that creator is responsible for the critter. From the Ontological Absolute who created Satan and man, to Dr. Frankenstein who created his monster, to the craftsmen of the robots in Blade Runner, the creator is responsible for what he makes. When the creature falls, rebels and becomes a beast, a monster, then it is the duty of the creator to either redeem that creation or to utterly destroy it. Among the lessor creators, redemption of the fall creature is usually quite hard if not outright impossible. In fact, the tendency is, that the creature destroys the creator. If the lessers among creators deal with their creatures at all, they have to destroy them.

My question is as follows: Can the states as sovereign expressions of the people who therein reside redeem this leviathan, or is destruction the only answer? In theory, one destroys this fallen polity by going into convention in each state, resending the contract (Constitution), and creating a new one. The question then becomes, if the states and their respective peoples actually have the will and the courage to do this, will be beast die or will the beast attempt to utterly devour his creator? That is, I suppose, in this final horrible version, need the 2nd amendment!

  4. Carthage is destroying itself. In the meantime we need (1) to tell folk this, and (2) to be setting up the alternative (try The League of the South), an alternative that can step in constructively after "the site is sown with salt" and "not one stone is left on another".

  5. Evil begats evil, so dismantling the present evil polity clears the way for more evil to permeate government institutions and entities, which may be more detrimental than what we have presently. We are immersed in an abysmal era of legalized criminalism, that has subverted and debased our entire political system. The bottom line - corporate profit is more important to these people than the welfare of the nation. It's time to reverse this trend in politics. Do we want to continue with evil, corporate bastards running the country, or, do we want honest, decent men and women that represent the will of the people instead? Before we set out to destroy Carthage, the minds and hearts of the people must change by deciding what is more important to them other than the latest news on Paris "ho" Hilton.

  6. Mr. Normand,

    One sees your point:

"Evil begats evil, so dismantling the present evil polity clears the way for more evil to permeate government institutions and entities, which may be more detrimental than what we have presently."

However, there is a German quote from the end of WWII:

"Besser ein Ende mit Terror, als ein Terror ohne Ende!" (Better an end with terror than terror without end!)

Or, if you prefer, there is the Louisiana Redneck version:

Billy Bob climbed a tree in which his dog, Ol' Blue, had, Bubba thought, treed a raccoon. Well, up in the tree amongst the branches and foliage, Billy Bod found, to his utter chagrin, that it was not a raccoon but rather a bobcat which commenced to claw and gnaw Billy Bob who also fought back with great tenacity. Finally, Billy Bob yelled to his buddy on the ground, Bobby Ray, "Shoot! Shoot!" Bobby Ray, excited, yelled back, "But I might hit you." Billy Bob replied, "Just shoot up here amongst us; one of the two of us has got to get some relief!"

That's my stand. In the battle with this evil, somebody with some compassion just needs to shoot and kill it or us!

  7. Do a search at http://www.house.gov - the words "al Qaeda" were never uttered on Capitol Hill prior to September 11, 2001.
